U-10 Rule Changes

Adopted spring 2005

With the exceptions of these modification approved and adopted by GLCSL, all rules comply with the FIFA Laws of the Game.

¨      6 V 6 with a goalie as part of the six.

¨      No Off-side Penalty

¨      No penalty kicks

¨      If a foul is committed, an indirect kick is awarded

¨      If a foul is committed inside the box, an indirect kick is awarded outside the box at the nearest corner closest to the site of the penalty.

¨      No direct kicks with the exception of the kickoff and corner kicks

¨      2 – 25 minute halves

U-06/08  Rules

For those Clubs who have U6 and U8 teams that travel.  These are the guidelines that were decided upon last year pertaining to these two age groups.

¨      No Corner or Goal Kicks.

¨      Everything is thrown in from the sides

¨      No throw ins from the ends.

¨      All penalty kicks are indirect and are taken from the corner of the box nearest the site of the offense.
